Today our IB Global Politics Year 1 and Year 2 students had the opportunity to attend the conference “Crime and Punishment, War & Peace: Armed Conflict in the 21st Century,” hosted by Universidad de las Américas Puebla (UDLAP) in collaboration with Instituto D’Amicis.
Led by Dr. Gerardo Rodríguez Sánchez Lara, professor in the Department of International Relations and Political Science, the conference offered our students an opportunity to engage with real-world political challenges and deepen their understanding of conflict, peace, security, and justice in today’s world.
Experiences like these bring global politics to life, encouraging our students to think critically, question perspectives, and connect classroom learning with the complexities of our interconnected world.
